No CommentsThe New 11 x 14 Deardorff Studio Camera
Here is the Deardorff Studio Camera shortly after it arrived. It came with an the original 11 x 14 back and an 8 x 10 reducing back. The lens is a 16 inch(400mm) Wollensak Vitax Portrait lens with a fast f/3.8. A wonderful lens with a knob to set the amount of diffusion. The shutter works but lacks some mechanical elements to make it useful. I managed to secure a #6 packard shutter with a 4.25 inch opening. My dilemma is a camera stand or a sturdy tripod or camera dolly for this monster which weighs in at a whopping 60 plus pounds.
